Tartans in Glass
For centuries, tartans have represented the proud heritage and history of Scottish clans. For those tied to the clans, whether by blood or marriage, these patterns woven in wool are more than criss-crossed lines: they are a symbol.
Traditionally woven in wool and worn as a kilt, here at Glass eMotions, I was inspired to re-create the traditional tartan patterns in another medium, one as ancient as the tartans themselves: glass.
Woven with glass threads, these tartans are as exact replicas of the tartans as glass chemistry allows. We respect the tartan tradition and know that in each tartan, every thread placement counts.

Blackberry is probably my favorite color. Dramatic and beautiful - looks just like the juice of blackberries and so many beautiful shades of color to create!
We lost everything in a forest fire a couple of years ago, I had been using Fuse Master enamels but they were too expensive to replace. Thank goodness I found Rogue Enamels at Glass eMotions! Easy to use, works great with water, mixing medium or oil. Rich and vivid colors that stay bright after firing - and half the price!! Very happy with these paints!
My favorite thing about the Rogue enamels is the integrity of the enamels in blending colors. I have worked with other products and feel that I can now paint in a way that reflects a normal painting process - mixing and adapting the colors to my needs.
