Step into our light-filled studio, where the ocean's palette awaits you in the form of fine glass enamels. Under the guidance of our experienced instructor, you'll learn the subtleties of applying enamels onto glass to build up the layers, colors, and textures that give life to the sea's ever-changing beauty.
This workshop is perfect for artists of all levels eager to explore the intersection of glass fusing and painting. You'll be introduced to techniques for creating the illusion of water in motion, the frothy lace of breaking waves, and the serene blues of the sea's expanse, all through the lens of glass enamels.
You'll focus on the interplay of light and color, mastering how to use enamels to mimic the sea's depth and movement, resulting in a work of art that captures the essence of the crashing wave before you.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have your own fused glass seascape, a serene yet dynamic piece that's as much a celebration of the ocean as it is of your newfound skills. Your creation will be a testament to the techniques learned and the creative spirit unleashed at the "Cresting Waves: Fused Glass Seascape Workshop." Join us to make more than just a wave – make a splash in glass!
You will have a choice of a 10" Circle, or a 12x6 Rectangle. All materials will be provided. If you are a painter/artist, you may want to bring your own brushes to work with. Painting on glass is very similar to using acrylic paints on canvas.
After your piece has been fired and fused, revealing the stunning interplay between glass and enamel, it will be ready for you to take home. It's not just a piece of art; it's a memory of your journey through the depths of glass fusion artistry.
Cancellation Policy: A 95% (5% administrative fee) refund will be given if you cancel your class 45 days before the class is scheduled. If you cancel your class within 15 days of the class, a refund (95%) will only be given only if your spot is filled.

Blackberry is probably my favorite color. Dramatic and beautiful - looks just like the juice of blackberries and so many beautiful shades of color to create!
We lost everything in a forest fire a couple of years ago, I had been using Fuse Master enamels but they were too expensive to replace. Thank goodness I found Rogue Enamels at Glass eMotions! Easy to use, works great with water, mixing medium or oil. Rich and vivid colors that stay bright after firing - and half the price!! Very happy with these paints!
My favorite thing about the Rogue enamels is the integrity of the enamels in blending colors. I have worked with other products and feel that I can now paint in a way that reflects a normal painting process - mixing and adapting the colors to my needs. I have used several brands of enamels and I like Rogue best of all! Once they are mixed well they are so smooth and intense. I love them
